Creating alternate stories, re-interpreting the past

I said that I had understood my blockages in the past from this.  But I do consider that our childhood interpretations of events that were limiting or painful serve to point us to where we can grow or expand. They are not mortal wounds, only information about ourselves for the pleasure of self-knowledge. In my adult life I can see that my father was an adventurer as I am and that if my mother had enjoyed travel we would have gone along with him. No one was wrong.

Then I began thinking about my podcast this week with Patti Teel. What if I just went in and created a different memory? A different reality if all and any realities exist at once. One in which I was completely loved and completely whole. And so that I know how to give my heart and live in complete acceptance of another?

That feels great. Today I am going to let that sink in and play with that.  I am open to and freed up around love and am ready for a great, lasting date!
